“Whoever builds a masjid in which the Name of Allah is mentioned, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.”

Our Story
By the permission of Allah, since 2002 Markaz Tawheed Wa Sunnah (MTWS) has established the Dawah of Islam in our City of Durham, North Carolina, and the surrounding community.
Our Masjid is located in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) which is the largest research park in the United States. This strategic location provides us with a platform to launch Dawah programs that reach students, professors, and professionals from around the world who come to study and work in this diverse, multicultural environment.
For over two decades, we have served our community with dedication and purpose. Now, we embark on the next chapter of our journey - building a permanent home that will serve generations of Muslims to come.
